Welcome to TrippyTulip. My name is Nesrin, but most people call me Trippy. For as long as I can remember, I always followed the beat to my own drum. Every summer as a child, I traveled to Turkey and consistently journaled. My favorite food is airplane food, especially on Turkish Airlines. Meeting new people, exploring new places, and writing about it all comes naturally to me.
I majored in Journalism at UMass in Amherst and upon completion in 2011, I started working in the field of education. I taught fourth grade for 5 years and in May of 2017, I received my masters in education. As soon as I started my sixth year, something just didn’t feel right. I craved change in my life.
So, I resigned. I realized that if a travel blog was something I always wanted to do, I couldn’t live my life thinking, “What If?” I have a story and an eye for the latest trends. Everyone experiences this life different and here is my version.
Whether you are tripping domestically, internationally, or looking for a weekend getaway, TrippyTulip will have the recommendations you need. From words of wisdom to photos of paradise, I’ll be sure to take you along the trip every step of the way.
